Abstract
The different sources of complexity in industrial clusters are discussed in detail by considering and recognizing the different issues such as the boundary, the inner structure, the diversity of and interactions among agents of the industrial cluster in the context of the general hypotheses usually applied in theories, before arguing that it is the diversity of and the dynamic interactions between agents that result in the complexity in the industrial cluster which evolve toward unpredictable long-term outcomes. Sights are gained and the suggestion that the use of complexity theory as a frame of reference to deal with such phenomenon are proposed.
