Abstract
Global Ozone Monitoring by Occultation of Stars (GOMOS) will for the first time provide the scientific community with unprecedented accurate global stratospheric ozone profile data sets for ozone trend monitoring. Furthermore, GOMOS will provide high-resolution vertical and line density profiles of NO2, NO3, H2O, aerosol, neutral air density, and temperature.
