Abstract :
A method of providing broad tuning range phase locked oscillators up to at least 26GHz has been developed. This has been possible because of two recent developments: an efficient high speed sampling phase detector and a thin film parametric divider within the YIG oscillator housing. These sources can be locked to crystal references at lOM Hz and upwards.
