Abstract :
Hydrological parameters play important roles in designing new well. Dupuit formula and Theis formula are usually used to calculate hydrological parameters by insert numerical method. The precision of parameters is affected by insert numerical table and pumping test data of reference wells. Purpose of this paper is to study on utilizing these data efficiently. Firstly, database of water resource is build by SQL SERVER and ARC/INFO, and data is obtained by GIS or RS to show space-time distributing rule of water resource; secondly, whole section is searched with the method of net-grid, and the value of parameters is selected to be the optimum estimating value; thirdly, conjugate gradient is used to approach the real value of parameters; the parameters and the distribution of aquifer in new well are obtained finally. This process is carried through VB 6.0 program. In practice, the new method shows its advantages in higher precision and efficiency.
