Abstract
The paper is a short summary on measurements of directional wave spectra during the Shuttle Radar Topography Mission (SRTM) in Feb. 2000 and mainly demonstrates the possibility to retrieve information on significant wave height and direction of ocean waves. Further information will be available after the data are phase calibrated and delivered to users
