Abstract
A computer controlled single sideband generator suitable for building homodyne network analyzers is presented. High suppression of carrier and unwanted sideband (up to 40-60 dB) is obtained by applying an iterative procedure. Calibration information is stored digitally for every frequency point and measurements can be performed with high tuning speed. This technique is suitable from microwave- up to millimeter-wave frequencies
