Abstract :
Despite their distributed nature, transmission lines can be well approximated in a given frequency band by rational models. In the past, most modelling has been done using models in the Laplace (s) domain. In this paper modelling in the Warburg (w) domain, is successfully applied to transmission lines as an alternative to the Laplace domain. The performance of the s- and w-domain models is compared on simulations and real measurements
