Abstract :
The design and analysis of an observer dealing with uncertainty related to the kinetics of (bio)processes is presented. The present approach proposes to use the unknown (kinetic) parameters as extra design parameters in order to guarantee zero steady-state observation error of the estimated process variables. The observer stability is analyzed and its performance is illustrated through numerical simulation.
