Abstract :
Parabolic trough collectors that water is used as the work substance are the trend of collector development in the future. In the receivers of this kind of collectors, water undergoes a process of two phase flow. Because of the two phase flow, the hydrodynamic property of collectors becomes very unstable. In this work, based on the research of the connection pattern of collectors, one of collector rows and affected factors are analyzed. The results show that the more the inlet pressure and solar radiation is, the less the minor enthalpy is, the hydrodynamic property of one of collector rows is stable. The hydrodynamic property of recirculation mode is better than once-through mode. For the given solar field, unstable hydrodynamic property occurs unless the total flow rate is less than 1 kg/s or more than 10 kg/s.
