Abstract :
The note considers the problem of finite-time functional observer design for linear discrete-time descriptor systems, which converges in finite time exactly. Under some conditions a finite-time observer can be comprised by two rth-order infinite time functional observers and a finite delay, where r is the dimension of output estimated of linear discrete-time descriptor systems.
