Abstract :
The installation process of power plant is a sophisticated and enormous project. Traditional installation progress refers to the two-dimensional engineering drawings, which cannot supply an intuitive method to the constructors. In this paper, three-dimensional models of the power plant parts are built, and their real installation process is simulated dynamically on the computer with SolidWorks software. The simulation process reflects the parts structures, the installation positions, and the construction details of the power plant parts comprehensively. Moreover, word and voice description are applied accompanied with the dynamic simulation displaying to describe the construction period and standards, etc. The result of the visual dynamic simulation can instruct the actual construction process of the power plant to a certain degree and can promote reasonable construction planning and management; it also can improve the method and quality of staff training for electric power construction enterprises.
