Abstract :
This paper investigates the effects of pilot interval design on linear interpolated channel estimation in single carrier frequency domain equalization(SC-FDE) system. Based on the properties of noise accumulation and fading channel correlation, the optimal pilot interval design is proposed. Simulations are finished over the four-ray Rayleigh channel, and the results prove that the proposed method is finally practicable. The experiential value of the optimal pilot interval is given, and is provided reference for engineering design.
