Abstract :
One of the essential objectives of restorative control of urban power network (UPN) is to pick up the lost load as much and quickly as possible. The definition of restorative control of modern UPN is presented followed the explanation of the special characteristics of UPN. Then the multi-agent system (MAS) technology is introduced to establish the framework of restorative control. Several agents, such as restorative management agent, data pre-processing agent, fault location agent, restorative reconfiguration agent, reactive power and voltage optimization agent, and equipment operation sequence agent are involved. The structure inside each agent and the communication method between the agents are discussed. At last, a practical UPN case is implemented here, and the simulation results show that the proposed restorative control strategy is feasible and suitable to be used on-line for UPN.
