Abstract :
This paper introduces the present situation of the development of China´s iron and steel industry and explains the social responsibilities of this industry at the field of energy-conservation and emission-reduction. Analysis is conducted on the necessity of energy-conservation and emission-reduction in China´s iron and steel industry from the aspect of industrial and national economic development. This paper also makes a research on the current situation, technical development trend and energy-conservation potentials of energy-conservation and emission-reduction of China´s iron and steel industry. It is highlighted that energy-conservation management system aimed for enterprise integrated energy-conservation by modernized management methods should be established and this system will, to some extent, be helpful for the accomplishment of the target of energy-conservation and emission-reduction of China´s iron and steel industry.
