A DEA Model for the Evaluation of Agricultural Technicians in Guangdong Province

Agricultural technicians is the direct impetus of agricultural economy. In order to establish the investment mechanism for agriculture technicians in Guangdong Province, it´s important to maximum the efficiency. Based on the DEA ( Data Envelopment Analysis ) model, this paper chooses the reasonable input indexes for agricultural technicians and output indexes for the economic benefit, analyzes the data, and evaluates the efficiency of agricultural technicians in each region of Guangdong Province. The result reflects the influences of agricultural technicians´ factor to the agricultural economics. According DEA projection analysis, this paper lists methods to improve efficiency of agricultural technicians, and provides decision support for agricultural technicians´ policy.
