Abstract
The aim of the article is to generalize Mangasarian´s (1977) iterative method, which was designed for linear complementarity problems on R +n to solving linear variational inequalities on any arbitrary closed convex subset of R n . Moreover, the non-accurate iteration and non-symmetric case are studied in the present paper
