Abstract :
In this paper, a new routing protocol named as reliable dynamic source routing based cluster label (CL-DSR) was proposed. This protocol divides the entire nodes in a network into lots of mutually independent clusters, and assigns unique cluster labels which form routing paths. Because of a high probability of the existence of multiple paths between clusters, most of link failures are fixed rapidly. This paper detailed designed the main mechanism including routing discovery, routing selection, data transmission and routing maintenance for CL-DSR. The simulation results demonstrate that CL-DSR has a good performance of high reliability, high transmission rate and low transmission delay, especially in highly dynamic networks.
