Abstract
This paper investigates the problem of fault detection and isolation in linear parameter varying (LPV) systems. By using the concepts of parameter varying (C,A)-invariant subspace and parameter varying unobservability subspace, the results extend the so called detection filters approach, formulated as Beard-Jones detection filter problem for linear time invariant systems for a class of LPV systems. The question of stability is addressed in the terms of Lyapunov quadratic stability by using an LMI technique.
