Abstract :
The computer program described is used to predict the three-dimensional magnetic flux density in and around 60 Hz substations. The program assumes that the station is air insulated, thereby neglecting the effect of any surrounding magnetic materials. The program is written in Fortran 77. There is a version of the program for a DEC VAX 11/785 and a version for an IBM or compatible PC. A simplified logic diagram of the program is shown. There are two types of data files required by the program: coordinate files and current files. Their functions are described. Comparison of calculated results with data obtained from a reduced scale model shows very good correlation
