Abstract :
In this paper, we proposed depth map measurement and generation for multi-view video system. The presented architecture adopts video segmentation scheme and disparity estimation technique to generate depth map. During the procedure, luminance compensation, object-based disparity estimation and triangulation algorithm are performed to estimate accurate depth information. Further, hardware architecture of depth map measurement and generation is achieved using structure of multiple processor elements. The proposed architecture performs accurate depth map measurement and generation for multi-view video system.
