Abstract :
In this work the preparation and the subsequent characterization of CO sensors based on yttrium cobalt perovskite (YCoO3) are presented. Once prepared, YCoO3 powders were characterized by X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) and tested for surface reaction activity by Temperature Programmed Desorption (TPD) and Temperature Programmed Reduction (TPR) experiments. Sensors were prepared as thick film sensors and tested in a newly developed measurement system. Experimental results showing the good performance of the obtained sensors are presented.
