  • Abstract
    According to the device fault and line fault that exist in power system, a componentized inference engine which combines forward inference and backward inference is designed based on the analysis of the categories and characteristics of the fault in this paper. Besides, a knowledge base which supports the inference engine is also designed. The engine and knowledge base are implemented based on the .Net framework and MySQL separately.
