Abstract :
Digital watermarking is broadly used in secure multimedia communication and copyright protection. In this paper, a secure multimedia transmission mechanism is proposed. Based on discrete cosine transform (DCT) and singular value decomposition (SVD) technology, we propose a new improved image watermarking algorithm, in which self-adapting unblocking and scrambling location method are used. This algorithm improves the embedding quantity and enhances the ability of resisting general attacks. Simultaneously, in order to improve the algorithm´s randomness and security, we use chaotic technique to provide a large key space for encryption. Both theoretical analysis and experimental results show that the proposed algorithm is robust to various attacks and has little impression to the original image. Therefore, it is interested for enhancing the security and invisibility of multimedia transmission.
