Abstract :
Corporate entrepreneurship is a good opportunity to exited firms´ renewal. How can the entrepreneurs make decision under the conditions of opportunity substitution (OS)/opportunity adoption (OA)? The paper investigated 277 owners and analyzed the differences of entrepreneurial modes (EM) by ANCOVA and regression analysis. The results indicted the identity and speed of decision making for OS was lower than OA, while the accuracy was slightly higher. Then the relationships of opportunity recognition and decision making caused by EM were discussed.
