Abstract :
The control technique in practical industrial control application of linear induction motor used for electromagnetic launch basically utilizes opened-loop control or conventional PID control, which results in very low power factor and efficiency of linear induction motor. Aimed at improving power factor and efficiency of linear induction motor, more precise mathematical model of high power linear induction motor considering the end effect, secondary leakage reactance and skin effects was established, and the calculate methods of corresponding parameters were presented in the paper. Taking some aircraft for instance, the system total parameters were presented and the converter topology was designed according to function module compartment. Referencing intelligent control technique application in rotary motor, high controllable, high efficient and high performance control strategy and fuzzy vector closed-loop control technique were researched in the paper. In the end, electromagnetic launch system total scheme was presented. High performance converting control scheme in the paper will provide theoretical foundation and analytical reference for simulation and experiment in future.
