Abstract :
A novel high precision flexible manufacturing system, which is an automatic marking and cutting manufacturing line of shipbuilding-profiled bars, is developed. The system integrates the robot technology, control and measure technology, signal processing technology, plasma arc cutting and marking technology, computer software and communication technology. The two key technologies of the system are: off-line program of robot based on PC net, and multi-sensor online measurement
