Abstract :
Amplitude notches in the transmission band are selected as the measure for instantaneous evaluation of transmission deterioration through multipath propagation characteristics since they can accommodate conventional macrostatistical processing. Notch analyses of various propagation models are performed, and notches generated by a recently developed multipath generator are measured. The results obtained by calculations and measurements are compared. These comparisons confirm that notch analysis is effective as a means of evaluation of propagation paths
