Abstract :
A very-high-frequency ultrasound system with digital RF data acquisition was used to scan anterior chambers of rabbit and human eyes in-vivo. Sets of parallel scan planes were employed to obtain 3-D echo data. Acquired data were processed to segment tissue structure and obtain biometric measurements; 3-D volume renderings were also produced. The results showed the potential utility of these procedures for glaucoma studies and also defined areas requiring further refinement
