Abstract
The micromachined optical switch has been extensively used in many optical applications at present. Comparing leaned low electrode mode with parallel low electrode mode, we found the former has well performance substantially largely due to the relationship between the driving voltage and the rotation angle of the micromirror. The size of the model impacts its performance, too. So by general analyzing static characteristics and dynamic characteristics of the optical switch, the relationship between optical switches parameters and their performances can be obtained that has theoretical and practical significance.
