Abstract :
We report our latest experimental results on a simple and compact wavelength switchable V-coupled cavity semiconductor laser. Discrete wavelength switching of 26 channels with 100GHz spacing is achieved with a side-mode-suppression-ratio of about 37 dB, using a single-electrode control. It is shown that the wavelength channels can be switched in opposite directions with different consecutively switchable ranges by tuning the long or short cavity.
