Transmission network single-line power flow diagram on large screen display is the key application display for SCADA/EMS system. Routine human power is not capable to handle over for such diagram in case of power grid developed to a certain scale, therefore automatic generation program becomes necessary which can be divided into three phases as single-line diagram layout, and single-line routing associated, integration by real-time SCADA/EMS data. In layout phase, a two stages solution as supply region layout and substation layout inside supply region is proposed which decreases the dimension of problem and increases the efficiency of optimization. In routing phase, also a two phase solutions is designed., in names as sequential routing phase and optimal routing phase. The application in Zhejiang Electric Power Company has been discussed which gives a very satisfied result and has been used for real dispatching.
