Abstract
Reviews two existing methods for stabilization: small-gain input/output methods and high-gain state space methods. The authors further investigate these methods in the context of possible conservatism and robustness properties. The authors then suggest possible alternative structures for linear parameter varying systems stabilization. Using techniques from viability theory, the authors compare parameter dependent vs. parameter-independent control for stabilization. Finally, the authors investigate the relationship between time-varying system dynamics and their corresponding transposed system dynamics
