  • Abstract
    An alternative approach is proposed for the pole placement tuning of controllers for plants that can be approximated by first and second order models. The tuning procedure is restricted to the tuning of the numerator polynomial, while keeping the denominator polynomial fixed. Averaging analysis of the resulting closed loop adaptive system is presented
