  • Abstract
Workflow technology has become a hot research field in collaborative system. However, with rapid development of the Internet, there are some barriers to the widespread use and efficiency of collaborative system based on workflow, because research of knowledge flow isn´t to be paid enough attention in collaborative system. To solve the issue in collaborative environment, in this paper we attempt to analysis the attributes of knowledge flow during the procession, and propose an integrated model of workflow and knowledge flow in collaborative system. Our purpose is to increase whole efficiency of collaboration and effective knowledge share, and further to provide intelligence services such as push some relative knowledge in time during the process via Internet or Intranet. This paper performs the following tasks: (1) introduction of collaborative system, workflow and knowledge flow; (2) discussion of interaction mechanism between workflow and knowledge flow during a business process; (3) presentation an integration model of workflow and knowledge flow; and (4) conclusion and expectation of the further work.
