Abstract :
MIMO measurement systems are measurement systems that collect homogeneous and/or heterogeneous measurement data from several input sources and then process them to achieve multiple output information, possibly exploiting their redundancy to be more robust against disturbances, such as interference and noise. The paper discusses the crucial synchronization issues of MIMO measurement systems, classifies them into two categories depending on how they affect the sampled signals, and proposes a methodology for the synchronization of different acquisition channels.
