Abstract :
Dynamic voltage restorer used in 10kV distribution network is constructed with no series injection transformer, cascaded cells and a single-phase PWM rectifier connected to the power side. This paper describes the typical control method of the single-phase voltage PWM rectifier. And then a new one loop control strategy for DVR is proposed. The strategy can help to reduce the voltage level of the DC side. The performances of the proposed control and with the DVR control methods were verified through PSCAD/EMTDC computer simulation.
