  • Abstract
    Due to the time-varying of mobile communication channel, the accuracy of the frequency synchronization is very important because of multipath and large frequency offset. In this paper, the proposed method improves on the basic of S&C. The timing offset and a small multiple of the frequency is similar to the S&C. During integer frequency offset estimation, the local sequence of integer frequency offset is arranged according to certain rules. The adjacent even-numbered sub-carriers of sync symbol transfer into new sequence by two-two multiplying and then multiply the local sequence to get the maximum. The integer frequency offset estimation is the maximum point. Simulation result shows that the proposed method can estimate frequency offset with higher accuracy and larger range.
