Abstract :
The paper presents an efficient and accurate design of phased arrays of aperture-coupled microstrip patch elements under consideration of the mutual coupling and the finiteness of the array. The predicted performance of an 8×8 element and an 8×8 element antenna array for radar applications in C-band are presented and compared with measuremnts.
