Abstract
In this paper, the problem of the pole assignment control of uncertain linear time invariant (LTI) SISO plants is dealt with. The solution proposal consists in a controller realized by means of state variable filters and by the use of a discontinuous control strategy coupled with an adaptation mechanism acting on the parameters of a suitably designed feedforward filter
