Abstract :
Innovation Center for Engineering Education at Pusan National University has been developing a training model for advanced engineering students to globally involve themselves. We developed the engineering service design program including problem based learning for multi-disciplinary teams of Korean and Indonesian students. In this paper, 2010 engineering service design program is presented and described briefly. This program helps students contribute to the global community through putting engineering major knowledge and upgrade the quality of global citizenship. The entire program can be classified into four steps such as engineering service idea competition, prototype manufacture and evaluation, preparation program, and practical engineering service. Primary program outcomes on the each step are determined to achieve learning objectives. The achievements of program outcome are evaluated by the participant survey. Some improvement opinions have been directly reflected in the planning for next program.
