Abstract :
The paper is a powerpoint presentation on MXF, a SMPTE standard for the exchange of audio/video material and metadata. It is an authoring format that is based on key-length value encapsulation and is extensible. This paper describes the different metadata in MXF, the A/V material in MXF, random access in MXF, and storage on XDCAM.
