Abstract :
This paper is a powerpoint presentation on the growing popularity of Wi-Fi technology. Wi-Fi as a vital enabling technology and is probably the only practicable infrastructure for the home which allows users to build and extend a network for home entertainment. The paper also describes how key issues of quality of service, security and configuration are being addressed in the Wi-Fi Alliance in association with the Digital Living Network Association.
