Research on farmer desire and behavior characteristics in farmland circulation

The purpose of this study is to verify farmer desire and behavior characteristics in farmland circulation. Methods of questionnaire survey and statistical analysis were employed. The results indicate that the farmland circulation interests many farmers in mountains, and the supply outweighs the demand in the farmland circulation. The farmers mainly think about land income of farmland circulation, moreover, governmental support is very important for improving farmland circulation. For the farmers in mountains, land assurance function outweighs economical function. Farmland circulation takes on these characteristics that farmers circulate land spontaneously, and the relationship of farmland circulation is unsteady, and the behavior of farmland circulation is irregular. It is concluded that nowadays many farmers in mountains have desire of participating in farmland circulation, and it is premise for driving farmland circulation forward to raise benefit of agriculture, and it is assure for driving farmland circulation forward to establish and improve social security system in urban areas, and it is key for driving farmland circulation forward to strengthen the governmental function.
