Abstract :
This paper reports on experimental and theoretical studies of different types of the quasioptical electron devices operating in the mm wavelength band. Two modifications of quasioptical gyrotrons with different electron guns are presented. Methods of optimization both of electron optics and electrodynamic systems are described. New quasioptical slow-wave structures are suggested for interaction with rectilinear electron beam.
