Abstract
RFID system is characterized by Wireless transmission and the lack of resource, which gives rise to severe security and privacy concerns. In this paper, we propose a serverless protocol that can prevent the major attacks like tracking et al. Furthermore, the protocol can recover the disabled tags that are desynchronized with the reader because of the desynchronizing attack. Our scheme makes use of pseudo random number generators (PRNG) and one way hash functions to ensure the security and privacy requirements of RFID systems. Compared with some renowned RFID protocols, our protocol is much efficient in the search process of the reader, and will be very suitable for the portable reader.
