  • Abstract
    The problem of variable structure control is proposed for discrete-time systems with time-varying delay. Under the condition of unknown state, the observer design for the delay system is considered first, then based on this observer and with the Lyapunov stability theory and LMI technique, the variable structure controller is designed.
