  • Abstract
    The operation theory of the leakage control system of the air preheats for a power boiler applied in a power plant is presented. The reason of the leakage of preheats for power boiler is analyzed. A new approach based on an expert controller is put forward, in which the method of combining the database and knowledge of controller rulers is used for leakage control system. After the practical experiment on a power plant, the results show that the air leakage can be reduced at least 10% compared with the case without the leakage control system. This, consequently, can strongly guarantee the normal running of the boiler.
