Abstract :
Based on the special investigation of public transit information requirement in Dalan, the study examines influencing factors of ATIS information service media choice behavior of public transit travelers. After the analysis of public transit information service media, a binary logistics model is presented to research the relativity and internal relationship among the factors influencing public transit travelers´ choice behavior. The results indicate that the factors such as vocation, age, types of public transit information, the usage frequency of mobile phone and Internet have significant influences on public transit travelers´ choice behavior. The paper provides a reference for the department of urban transportation management to choose the rational information service media for public transit travelers.
