Abstract :
This paper presents a study of the influence of AM-PM noise present in a microwave source on the precision of six-port measurements. It has been found that a noisy microwave signal source does not degrade the precision of the measurements. Experimental validation on passive and active devices was carried out and confirm the immunity of six-port measurement techniques to the AM-PM noise of the microwave signal generator
