Abstract :
This paper is concerned with the design and practical implementation of the Networked Predictive Control (NPC) method based on the ball-beam system. Ball-beam system is a typical nonlinear system wildly used to test control schemes. The principle of predictive control is adopted to overcome the effects of network time delay and packet dropout. The results both of simulations and experiments show the effectiveness of the proposed strategy.
